really great cinematic, late night electro-jazz from our friend Kreng! this is a netlabel release, and a lovely teaser for his first album, titled ' L'Autopsie Phenomenale De Dieu' which will be released on the excellent Miasmah label april/may 2009! all the best kreng, and good luck with your forthcoming album and hope you'll come to stockholm!

"Kreng started as a strictly sample-based project, incorporating sounds from various sources: free-jazz, new electronic generated sounds, classical modernism & vintage geographical recordings. The project became a very cinematic, theatrical device that has been used by various directors. Kreng scored more that 20 theatre- & danceproductions, most of them produced by Abattoir Fermé's director Stef Lernous & free-lancer Piet Arfeuille. Kreng has been involved in some collaborative projects with various members of Belgiums' musical underground. Among them Sakuran & drummer Eric Thielemans. He produced a remix for Badawi's Unit Of Resistance Album (= Raz Mesinai who also records for John Zorn's Tzadik label) & Thor_Ltd. (Check him out in my friends-list; sheer genius). His first album, titled ' L'Autopsie Phenomenale De Dieu' will be released on the excellent Miasmah label (artistic co-ordination by Erik Skodvin, aka Svarte Greiner / Deaf Center).
